hi! i’m ashley! thanks for taking the time to view my website. i graduated from rider university with a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking and english with a minor in film studies. i have a certification in copyediting too.

i am currently a staff writer for MovieJawn, an online writing collective based in Philadelphia, dedicated to the love of film, as well as the podcast coordinator for MovieJawn’s Intermission Podcast. additionally, i am a contributor to the online magazine The 20-Something Files, with my Sunday Scaries Watchlist series.

i’ve always loved movies, whether it’s watching them, writing about them, writing them, and helping out others making a film. i love stories — especially those that are not often told.
